Each player’s Advisor will handle the hockey operations in a collaborative effort with the rest of The Guardian Groups‘ trainers, counselors, and coaches. The Guardian Group advisor seeks to honor and glorify the Lord by providing clarity and direction to each family. We help families navigate the next steps of the hockey decisions by Discipling Godly warriors and their families with clarity, direction, and purpose.

- Monthly call with player providing 360 feedback on development program and updates on opportunities
- Quarterly calls with families on progress of player and direction for families
- In-person visits to watch player live and constant updates on player’s overall development process
Physical Expectations
- Personal Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Personal Hockey Skills Coach
- Video review, and or personal visit to games or practices to assess skill and fitness levels
- Baseline testing and individualized programming for maximized results
- Custom-built programming no matter the resources available to player and family
- KPI’s identified, taught, and trained for specific measurable results
- Overall education and insights on nutrition, skill, skating, speed, and strength from world-class professionals
- Mechanical movements manipulated and taught for on & off-ice performance
Spiritual Expectations
- Personal Ice Hockey Chaplain
- In and out of Season Bible Study mentorship program
- Spiritual Development through huddles, suggested readings, and devotional huddles
- Weekly content from Christian hockey players
- Monthly check-ins for spiritual accountability and building relationships
- Quarterly calls with a mentor for Godly men traits, guest speaker, and more
- Pray consistently for players and families
Hockey Advisor (ops)
- Personal Hockey Operations Advisor
- Specific invites to FCA Player Advisors Camps and Liberty Hockey Camps and Training Facilities
- Introductions to Junior, College, and or Pro Coaches that can help achieve the desired level
- Stay informed on future hockey opportunities and potential connections for each player
- Advice on summer skates, tournament teams, and tryout camps
- Set proper and realistic expectations for players and family
- Keep updated with a shared network list for all Guardian Group Members
- Attend a minimum of one game in person of the player
- Watch a minimum of four games via video of the player
- Assistance with phone and personal interviews
- Pray consistently for the player and family
